Alright so here it is! The post some of you have been waiting for! Yes I got to go to Reba and Kelly when the came to Utah and you guessed it I loved every minute of it!
I was really worried when the Monday before the concert I still didn't have tickets, but Monday night I ordered tickets and well I got my signature Reba seats 2nd row floor! This is the 5th concert of Reba's that I have been 2nd row for, I really can't see her any other way call me a concert snob but I just can't sit far away anymore!
I took my friend Kim ( or more like Kim came with me) she did pay for her ticket! We got 2nd row center stage seats and it was amazing!
Some guy came and sat next to me saying he had like four extra seats so I called my friend Liz who was sitting about 10 rows behind me with her cousins! I asked this guy who had so many extra tickets how he got so many tickets and he said he just had a way! Hello no one has a way of getting such great seats unless you are someone! Well I asked him for his business card because well he had to be someone! He also asked me to not show his card to anyone when he handed it to me! I was right after the concert I came home and googled him this guy who I will not name out of respect to him and my connection with him is a video music director and has directed a few of Reba's music video's. He left about three songs into the concert, I so with that I would have recognized his name because I am sure he went backstage and I am sure he could have gotten me backstage as well! Next time I have already emailed to thank him for the extra tickets!!!!!
Liz and her cousins came up to 2nd row and it was a blast. Liz's cousin Bret is a big Kelly fan so with the two of us, in the front Reba and Kelly had to love it. There was one time when Bret sat down and I gave him this look like are you kidding me! He stood right up and I said true fans stand the whole concert he agreed and stood the whole night! "Had so much fun in Utah! The fans in Utah are crazy fun and were up on their feet the whole show! Thank y'all so much for coming out!"
They were up on their feet all night because of Bret and I!
A few things that I didn't like about the concert! Kelly kept looking at me, I would be singing Reba's songs or dancing with her ( yes I have been so many times to see her now that I know her dances CRAZY I know) well I would look over at Kelly and she would be staring right at me! I wanted to be like " Hello Kelly you love Reba as much or more than I do so you of all people should understand me right now" No it really didn't bug me but I really wanted to talk to her afterwards and be like hey what up why you look at me like that!
The other thing is that I made these signs that said Reba for President, and Kelly for vice president, well I tried to get them signed and Reba's bodyguard came over and was like you can't get those signed! SADNESS I KNOW! After the show Melissa Peterman who played Barbara Jean on the Reba show signed the Reba poster for me! Melissa opened for Reba with a comedy act and was pretty funny! It was funny cause everyone around me was yelling "Barbara Jean" and she wasn't paying attention, and I yelled Mellissa and she came over and said yes what can I do for you! Even better was that as I was talking to her I asked her if she would sign my Reba poster since Reba didn't and she was like well how dare she I can sign her name if you want! HAHAHAHA I told her no and had her sign her name, it was fun to talk to her she is funny!!!
It was great because during one song that I love which is on youtube under arebafan video's called up to the mountain is my favorite song that Reba and Kelly sing. I started screaming and was pretty much the only one screaming, and both Reba and Kelly looked at me and I said "I love this song" and Reba said so do I it was like we were real friends talking about the songs we liked! Ok I know I am pathetic!!!! But really this is my love in life right now so just deal with it!
The concert was amazing, I could not speak for three days afterwards my throat hurt so much it was so dry and scratched really for three days it hurt but it was so worth it!
